I've decided to try and get this blog going again. Our Young Women had an activity recently on journaling and one of the girls taught about how journaling can take on many forms. Then I was inspired by a new friends blog of their family life. So, here goes!
Yesterday we took the boys to the fair. We met up with some family which was nice because the boys had cousins and uncles to ride rides with.
Chris helped out at a booth at the fair this year that is for our church. He and the missionaries offered free pictures of Christ to people walking by, and talked with many of them to see if they were interested in learning more about the gospel. He said he really enjoyed it.
We spent last Friday and Saturday in Nashville. We drove down on Friday and stayed at the Courtyard in Brentwood. Saturday morning Caden watched his brothers so Chris and I could do a session at the temple. At 2PM Chris and Caden met our youth group at the temple to do baptisms, while I took the little boys to "dragon park" to play. We love our little family getaways because it takes us all away from the never ending work at home and we just get to focus on each other.
